Joining 52 Weeks of Happy

After much deliberation, I've finally decided that I would give the "52 Weeks of Happy" a try.  I need more happy in my weeks!  My only hesitation had been whether I would be able to keep this going every single week.  But there's no other way to know unless I try, right?  So here we go.  I think I'll do these posts on Monday before my week falls apart ;)

1.  Cable Mitts, ripped out and now finished!!

 
2.  Golden-Crowned Kinglet flitting around the backyard yesterday :)

 
 
3.  This girl who loves her animals, and one in particular who loves to see her home occasionally!
 
 
4.  A thrift store find ... a lovely platter.

    ~ Ooh I forgot about Cody! He makes us all HAPPY! (More of him please and thank you ) Lovely picture of your girl too....Chin up dear Wendy....I am guessing your week becomes difficult as you get more busier with perhaps caring for every one...~ I have been there too, my friend.... I could have done with Rosey Tinted Spectacles during those times.. hehe....LOVE those mittens....Clever YOU! With kind thoughts..Maria x

      I'm glad Cody makes you happy! Today he needs a bath as he got greasy water spilled over his head when he was a sneaky pup and got into a pan filled with water left to soak on the counter (how he got to the pan I'm not sure!). Actually, my days have been pretty good lately. Out to see Dad every weekend, listen to him grumble, and then back home. Looking at life through rosey tinted spectacles actually does help :) It's been a great lift to have such kind friends through this blog, and I so appreciate all the kind comments everyone has left me.     Thanks for sharing your happy post - I joined earlier in the year and had the same worries about keeping up with it but it has really helped me focus on the good things that happen and make me smile however small they might be . Good luck x

      Hi Gail, and thanks for popping in and following! Yes, the mittens were a challenge at the fingertips, but I'm happy enough with the final results. Will try mittens again for sure. We're just heading into spring here, and I think (hope!!) that I won't actually need them till next winter ;)

    Oh I hope your week doesn't fall apart, especially with such a lovely start to it! I enjoy the 52 series, even when the week is bad, I try to look for four little things that made me happy!

    Great that you figured out the mittens. They look very nice!
    The 52 weeks of happy sounds like a great wwekly excercise to couunt the blessings in one's life ;-)

      Thanks Kathy, I'm glad they're off the needles and finished right up too! The little kinglet is SO tiny! He's only about 2 inches in length! So cute, but he just wouldn't sit still for more than a couple of seconds, I'm lucky to have captured him at all ;)
