SNOW!!

Here's my little garden rabbit two days ago sitting on the sunny patio.  Thursday afternoon it started snowing ... it hasn't stopped yet at 6:00 pm on Friday.  Here's rabbit, slowly being covered ...

Rabbit's ears are just visible as little tiny dots in the snow below (do you see them?) at about 11:00 am this morning ...

Now the poor rabbit is completely obliterated, and the snow on the patio is past my knees!!  We had nothing on the ground on Wednesday, and now this ...

A good night to hunker down, stay warm inside and knit.

I'm completely worn out from shoveling are drive four times today.  Our drive is below grade, so I have to lift up every shovel-full of snow above my head to put it on the side.  The wind whipped it back into my face too.  It's been a very wintery day today, and it looks like it's going to continue into the night.  I hope my dad understands when I don't come round for my Saturday's visit with him tomorrow.

Hope you're not travelling far if you're here in Ontario :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Wendy

    1. It's dawned a clear, bright and sunny day this morning ... storm has moved on :) The snowplows will still be doing their hard work today on the highways, so I'm staying home today. It's beautiful out there now with everything covered in pure white blankets!! I hope your snow melts away quickly Maria. We won't be getting spring rains for a while, Wendy

  2. The perfect excuse for staying inside and crafting, baking and drinking cocoas I think!
    Sorry to hear about the shovelling though! Hope all that snow doesn't pose a threat to you and yours :-)

    1. Yes, lots of snow. Bunny will be staying right where he is and we'll find him again in the spring :) Beautiful day today in the aftermath with all that bright white snow and brilliant blue sky!

  5. It's kind of pretty isn't it? Even though a pain. My kids put a ruler in the snow and it was eventually covered. A late winter surprise for us. :)

  8. Hey Wendy, could you please knit your little bunny a scarf, it would make me feel better, hehe.....
    That's an amazing amount of snow and one heck of a way building up your biceps with all that shovelling.

    The thought of being warm and cosy knitting while it's snowing outside is rather lovely, though I'm sure the
    reality of all that snow isn't quite so wonderful.

    Sending warm thoughts from Oz for higher temps.....

    Claire :}
